Yes, Your Honor, We swear to be a great Record Label
Local record label Sworn In Records, has just added five Northwest hip-hop acts to their roster: Big Fub, JaeMez, Chew Gums, Paze and Mister E-Dog. In a press release, Sworn In CEO Erol Cobanoglu stated, "We're thrilled to have these five superbly talented artists join our label, Northwest hip-hop is an up-and-coming force in the world of music, and I can't think of a better combination than that between Sworn In Records and [these] artists under Beat Down Productions. Our joint efforts will solidify Northwest hip hop's presence in today's music scene, and the talent that our artists bring will elevate everyone's game in this genre."
Also on the Sworn In label is local alt-metal-screamo band Sub*Vert, who will celebrate their newest EP, When The Earth Screams, at a CD release party on Friday, November 10, at 8 p.m. at the Big Easy. Joining them are Lust Greeds Envy, Sprockets and Seven Cycles. Sub*Vert has been together since 2000, playing tight, clean, heavy, melodic music and this newest release is spot-on.
