The Whittenberger Planetarium on The College of Idaho campus is recognizing the autumnal equinox and the 40th anniversary of the first moon landing this fall as part of the ongoing International Year of Astronomy series. On Tuesday, Sept. 22 we will recognize the first day of fall with a show of the current night sky and the autumnal equinox. The current night sky and the moon will be the focus of our shows on Tuesday, Oct. 13 and Nov. 10. Reservations are required as space is limited. Please make them by calling JoAnn Bellon at 459-5211. The planetarium is located in Boone Science Building near Jewett Auditorium on the corner of 20th Ave. and Fillmore St. in Caldwell.
