What Meeting?

The Virginia company that wants to build a nuclear power plant near Bruneau has continued its public-relations push to convince finance barons that they've got money, investors, land and public support. The penny-stock company, which has little in the way of any of those three things, now says it has set up a meeting with Washington Group International, the local firm that has expertise in nuclear waste management and cleanup. Alternate Energy Holdings CEO Don Gillispie told a Virginia newspaper he hoped Washington Group would agree to build the Bruneau plant. The only problem is, the folks at Washington Group aren't aware of Gillispie's plans.

"I'm not aware of any meetings that are planned at this point," said Jerry Holloway, spokesman for Washington Group.
