The EPA and Army Corps are considering rescinding the 2015 Clean Water Rule, a law aimed at clarifying which water bodies and wetlands were protected under the Clean Water Act. Although the proposed rule is currently stayed in the courts, if the rule were enacted, it would protect sources of drinking water for one in three Americans. Idaho Conservation League will discuss the legal and historic background that brought us to where we are today, then discuss what Idaho stands to lose if the Clean Water Rule is ultimately rescinded. Hosted by the Idaho State Section of the American Water Resources Association.
