Volunteers to Serve at Alive After Five

When: Wednesdays. Continues through Aug. 26 2009

Anyone age 21 and older who would like to volunteer to help the Boise Friends of Parks serve beer and wine at a booth during Alive After Five every Wednesday night in August can send an e-mail to beth@markley.com. The fund-raising effort is for the the Ray Neef, MD, River Recreation Park. All tips will be split between two community groups: the Ray Neef, MD, River Recreation Park and the Boise Firefighters Burn Out Fund. The three-hour shifts are between 5-8 p.m. at the Boise Centre on the Grove in downtown Boise. The lineup of music includes: Aug. 5: Ray Wylie Hubbard with openers Red and Gray; Aug. 12: Juno What? with openers Hillfolk Noir; Aug. 19 LoCura with opener Jonathan Warren; and Aug. 26 Mother Hips with openers Finn Riggins.
