BW first wrote about local photographer Levi Bettweiser's Rescued Film Project, in which he collects, develops and archives rescued photo film, in October 2014. Bettweiser, is something of a one-man band, casting the RFP story to national news media, seeking out undeveloped film and performing the arduous task of developing and archiving all of it.

Now, Bettweiser is asking for help identifying seven images of former President Dwight D. Eisenhower found in California on an "orphaned roll of film."

"The challenge has been laid down: Please help me figure out when these photos were taken, why they were taken and where they were taken. These photos could be documenting an important part of our history," Bettweiser says in a YouTube video uploaded July 30.

Watch the video below and if you have any information that might help identify the photos, please email Bettweiser at info@rescuedfilm.com.
