Lena Dunham is taking about virginity again, but this time - voter virginity.
The 26-year-old creator of HBO’s 'Girls' has made a new controversial ad for the Obama campaign called “Your First Time.”
In it, she tells young female voters “your first time shouldn’t be just with anybody. You want to do it with a great guy. Someone who really cares about and understands women. A guy who cares whether you get health insurance, specifically whether you get birth control.”
"The consequences are huge," Dunham adds. "My first time voting was amazing, It was this line in the sand, before I was a girl, now I was a woman... I voted for Barack Obama."
She then explains why Obama’s policies are good for young women, and talks about why she cast her vote for the president. Conservatives are predictably hot and bothered over the maybe-a-little-edgy ad, calling it “disgusting” and “a new low” for Obama.
"They've finally sunken to a new low trying to get the youth vote by comparing voting for the first time to having sex for the first time," says the RightScoop.
