On Stage

Uncessary Farce Audition

When: Oct. 7-8, 2-4 p.m. 2011

Auditions are being held for four men and three women for Unnecessary Farce, a farce by Paul Slade Smith and directed by Ted Pendleton. Two cops. Three crooks. Eight doors. Go. In a cheap motel room, an embezzling mayor is supposed to meet with his female accountant, while in the room next-door, two undercover cops wait to catch the meeting on videotape. But there’s some confusion as to who’s in which room, who’s being videotaped, who’s taken the money, who’s hired a hit man, and why the accountant keeps taking off her clothes. Run dates are Jan. 13-14, Jan. 19-22 and Jan. 26-28. For more info contact Ted Pendleton at tedibec@cableone.net or 208-919-9481.
