When: Sat., July 16, 6:30 p.m. 2016
For years, the Boise Twilight Criterium has been touted as one of Boise's premier annual events. In the past, it has drawn more than 20,000 people to the downtown core and brought professional cyclists from around the world to compete for cash and glory.
This year the Criterium celebrates 30 years with a birthday bash for all ages, full of activities and races.
Start at noon with an autograph session and kids' ride with Boise cycling legend Kristin Armstrong. The races begin at 2 p.m., and at 6:30 p.m., there's a Boise GreenBike Celebrity Bike Ride and Opening Ceremony, followed by the Women's and Men's Pro races. Stick around for the awards ceremony at 10 p.m. to see athletes awarded with the spoils of their competition.
