Transit Views

by

It's time to join the crowd talking about transportation and mass transit.

Valley Regional Transit and the Community Planning Association of Southwest Idaho will host an open house on Thursday, Jan. 17, in downtown Boise to let the public weigh in on the variety of transit options being discussed.

The public can check out plans for a multi-modal transportation hub planned for downtown, as well as a downtown circulator (a bus or streetcar that would move people between in-town locations) and a rundown of proposals for valley-wide transit.

The open house will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 213 Ninth St., on the corner of Ninth and Idaho streets. For more information or to offer online comments, visit CompassIdaho.org/ProdServ/SpecialProjects.htm.
