Once upon a time, a doughnut was nothing but dough with a hole in it. But by the wonders of technology and innovative imaginations, doughnuts have become the coolest culinary trend around. The September Children's Culinary Institute class will tap the creativity and baking skills of participating young chefs. In a fun and supportive environment, they'll learn proper culinary techniques, health through nutrition, and sustainability. Registration ends Sept. 14. For ages 8-12.
