Bands are born, die, are reborn, die and are born again. Sometimes the dead stay dead. But, if a band has a strong enough will, it can be revived.

Enter Switch Hitter. Right around the time they released their last CD, And Then There Were Three (available at your local indie record store), there were none. Switch Hitter was subjected to various temperaments and major changes that the band in its current incarnation couldn't survive. However, founder J. Hoss has regenerated the band, bringing back old members and adding some new to reincarnate Switch Hitter's signature punk/pop sound. Give And Then There Were Three ... a listen and watch for their comeback.

The Adolescents lead singer, Tony Cadena will be on hand at the Sundance Film Festival for the screening of the documentary film,American Hardcore, the history of punk rock in America from 1980 to 1986. The Adolescents recently celebrated 25 years together with the release of O.C. Confidential. This is the first release of new material in 17 years. Along with Agent Orange and Social Distortion, The Adolescents Òhelped establish the blueprint for Orange County punk" according to All Music Guide.
