Join the Intermountain Bird Observatory crew for a morning of songbird banding at their beautiful Boise River site. You'll be catching, banding and releasing wild songbirds all morning as part of their standardized breeding season monitoring protocol. Drop by and stay as long as you like, but try to arrive before 10 a.m. and plan to stay at least an hour to have the best chance of seeing birds. Depending on the heat, we may close our nets as early as 10 a.m. Eventbrite registration required. The center is located located near the intersection of Warm Springs Avenue and the Highway 21 bridge.
