"It's interesting to note that our Labor Day picnic is being allowed to continue in the park. Parks and Recreation no longer permits too many large public events there; but our tradition will go on," said Leland Heinbach, president of Boise CT and LC. "And during this year's picnic we'll have a pretty big announcement."
"We'll share some details on Labor Day. We're still working on designs, but we're looking a site right near the Boise Greenbelt," said Heinbach. "We've got it all picked out and we'll be sharing that on Monday."

"I can't tell you how many times that food bank has served as a critical resource for so many local families when the economy takes a turn," said Heinbach.
Organizers said the Labor Day celebration "is a time for working people to honor the victories of those who came before us, while also preparing for the important fights ahead."
