At this point, the British indie band Scars On 45 has visited Boise so many times that it's practically an honorary local act. From intimate house shows to multiple appearances at city events like Alive After Five, the group has carved out a place in the Boise music scene, and on Wednesday, Nov. 28, it will be back in town to headline 94.9 The River's KRVB FM Concert For Cause event benefiting the Women's and Children's Alliance. The group will bring with it fresh material from its newest album, Satellite Town (King Of Payne Records, 2018), which hit shelves in August. The album features the single "Teenage Superstar"—a track as upbeat and nostalgic as its name suggests—as well as deeper, more introspective songs like the its namesake. As if that weren't enough, Los Angeles rock duo Roscoe & Etta will open, pairing dueling guitars with husky, soulful vocals to kick off the show.
