Sauerkraut Day in Hyde Park

Join Valentina to learn how to make your own sauerkraut that's gut-friendly alive and bursting with flavor and health-promoting properties. You'll need to take a 1-quart canning jar, cutting board and knife, vegetable grater, large mixing bowl, medium head of fresh green cabbage, two-three carrots, and pickling or Himalayan pink salt. The remaining ingredients to make real Slavic sauerkraut will be provided.
