The owners of two Riggins taverns (Salmon River Inn and Seven Devils Bar), who saw their liquor licenses pulled by the Idaho State Police Alcohol Beverage Control board, won't have them back in time for the jet boat races happening this weekend. The owners asked ISP for a temporary restoration of their licenses races and the Riggins Rodeo, which is scheduled for the first weekend in May, but their requests were denied.

This morning's Lewiston Tribune reports Michael Blimka, who owns the Salmon River Inn, also owns Summerville's, which still has its liquor license intact. Blimka told the Tribune he has ordered extra booze for the coming weekend and expects Summerville's to handle the crowds.

Earlier this month, owners of the Salmon River Inn and Seven Devils Bars accused ISP of operating a "sting," which resulted in the loss of their liquor licenses. A formal ABC hearing on the issue has been scheduled for a later date, according to the Tribune.
