Readings and Conversations: Firoozeh Dumas

Firoozeh Dumas wrote a collection of colorful stories, inspired by her father, as a gift for her children. In 2003, the stories were published as Funny in Farsi. The book quickly ascended the Los Angeles Times and the San Francisco Chronicle bestseller lists and was a finalist for the PEN/USA award in 2004.
