When: Sun., Oct. 1, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. 2017
Tour private Mid-Century Modern homes in the Randolph Robertson neighborhood and learn about the history of the homes and development of the neighborhood. When the automobile became king in America, it influenced how neighborhoods were designed. The homes on tour also reflect the popularity of Ranch styles, horizontal lines, and big windows that worked to bring the outdoors in. These homes were built in the 1950s and 1960s, and each has a unique look that shows the most popular architectural styles of the day. Tour starting point is Grace Jordan Elementary School. Buy tickets online or purchase at the registration table the day of the event. Early bird tickets for everyone $25 until Sept. 17, then $30 for nonmembers.
