Police Blotter: Boise Road Rage Incident Ends With Weapon, Drug Seizure, Two Arrests

A Boise man and woman are behind bars following a Tuesday night road rage incident, resulting in the arrests and seizure of drugs and a weapon.

Boise police received a call reporting the incident just before midnight, June 7 near the intersection of Overland Road and Orchard Street. That's where witnesses told police two vehicles were involved in a minor traffic collision. Witnesses said a male driver jumped out of one of the cars with a firearm, leading the occupants of the other car to flee the scene. Police later found one of the vehicles at the intersection of Kootenai and Phillippi streets, driven by a male matching the description of the suspect.

Police said they found a handgun in a nearby bush along with a baggy containing a crystalline substance. Police took the male into custody and also arrested a female passenger after discovering a syringe containing meth in her possession.

Louis Wallace, 31, of Boise, is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, probation violation and intent to deliver drugs, all felonies.



Elean Magee, 27, of Boise, is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, the latter a misdemeanor.
