The neo-soul ninjas of Seattle's Pickwick know how to piss off their audience. Not with live shows, however. Those are sweaty, ecstatic affairs that make booties shake, no matter who's in the audience. The band's jangle-dance tambourines and Motown-esque soul vocals slayed just as hard inside the black walls of Neurolux as they did on the Treefort main stage.
The band knows how to piss people off because it took its sweet time recording an album for the fans it continued to drive bonkers at such live shows.
But what sets this show apart from its previous Boise appearances is, you can finally buy the band's album afterwards.
