With more flavor components than wine or beer, and a dizzying array of roast styles and regions to choose from, diving into specialty coffee can be an exciting but daunting endeavor. Join local roaster Colin Seeley, owner of Ironside Roasting Co., on a journey into the world of specialty coffee. In a very informal and conversational session, you’ll learn about coffee growing regions, processing methods, roast profiles, and how that all translates to the flavors in your cup. You’ll finish with a brewing method demo and a coffee/dessert pairing featuring Emmeli’s Cake.
