As part of the Snake River Alliance's 30th anniversary of grassroots organizing, the group along with Will Ferroggiaro of Fund for Peace, is hosting an event recognizing the Hiroshima/Nagasaki bombs. A group will take a peace walk at 5:30 p.m. beginning at the Boise Train Depot down Capitol Boulevard to the Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial where Ferroggiaro will give a keynote address followed by a ceremony to place a memorial brick at the Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial. This event serves as a reminder of the devastation of nuclear weapons and a discussion of current nuclear threats. The Snake River Alliance Web site is www.snakeriveralliance.org.
