Several news reports earlier this week stated that the concert house was in the clear after the night club was able to renew its liquor license with the state.
But don't break out the champagne yet.
It's true the Big Easy was allowed to renew its liquor license with the state, a process every license holder must undergo each year. According to officials at Alcohol Beverage Control, however, there was never a question that the club's license wouldn't be renewed.
The night club is still scheduled for a review of its restaurant designation next month to determine whether it will be classified as a restaurant or a bar. If Idaho State Police rules that the venue does not meet the qualifications to be a restaurant and instead is a bar, minors would be prohibited from entering the premises.
