New Cover: Rainbow Books Renamed Once and Future Books

by

In March, Boise Weekly first reported that used book store Rainbow Books was being purchased by downtown retailer Rediscovered Books. On Saturday, Rainbow entered into a new phase when its owners renamed it Once and Future Books on Oct. 20.

"Look for new paint, signs and a mural facing 13th Street in the months to come," wrote Rediscovered owners Bruce and Laura DeLaney in a press release. "Once and Future Books will host a reading initiative called Sir Readsalot and the Knits of the Reading Table to promote connections between readers of all ages."

Beyond the new name, inspired by the classic novel by T.H. White, and community-based reading initiatives is a shop with a substantial stock of 25,000 titles across a range of genres, from classics and children's books to graphic novels and romance.
