The Idaho attorney general's office announced Thursday morning that law enforcement from Boise, Meridian, Nampa and the Department of Homeland Security teamed with the AG's Internet Crimes Against Children unit to put a Nampa man behind bars, charged with possession of child pornography.

Idaho AG Lawrence Wasden said the arrest of Peter Allen Cash, 39, came after investigators conducted a search of Cash's home and seized evidence from his computer. Cash now faces nine counts of sexual exploitation of a child.

Wasden added that investigators had to work fast because they had reason to believe Cash intended to leave the United States this week and move to Canada.

Cash faces additional child pornography possession charges pending in Missouri, according to Wasden.
