Mexican Indepence Day Celebration

When: Sat., Sept. 16, 3-7 p.m. 2017

The Four Rivers Cultural Center's fifth annual Mexican Independence Day kicks off with face painting, crafts, pinatas, Lotteria, food vendors, fun, and entertainment, including performances on an open air stage by the Mariachi Tleyotzin band Sol Y Luna and Xochipitzahuatl Folkloric dancers, along with local singers and musicians. Rep. Cliff Bentz will be speaking, and the Mexican Consulate from Boise will provide a traditional presentation (Grito). This is a wonderful way to experience the vibrant culture and history of our Mexican heritages. Take advantage of 30 plus local resource providers for information and sign-ups.
