When: Wed., Oct. 11, 5-7 p.m. 2017
Mental Illness Awareness Week provides an opportunity to fight stigma, give support, educate the public and advocate for equal care. Although many people today understand that mental illness is a medical condition, individuals and families affected by mental illness are still often subjected to stigma and discrimination. This year, STARR Family Behavioral Health is calling on everyone to get “Into Mental Health.” They'll have trained experts available to answer questions, provide resources, and to educate the public on these issues. You'll enjoy free food and open awareness.
