Learn how to safely preserve food in this seven-week course, held Tuesdays through May 19. U of I Extension Service will grant certification after successful completion of the course. Participants volunteer 30 hours of service by providing research-based food preservation information after completion of the course. A limited number of applicants are accepted each year on a first-come, first-served basis; deadline to apply is March 20.
