Enjoy this daylong centennial celebration of Mary Hallock Foote Day, proclaimed by Mayor David Bieter. The Boise pioneer was an author, illustrator and founding member of the Columbian Club, which was instrumental in securing a Carnegie Library in Boise. You'll enjoy an early 20th century train layout, dramatic presentations, speakers on Foote’s writing and art, displays, a historical fashion show, an old-time printing press, coloring fun, and much more. Suitable for all ages.
