25 years of professional art in Boise, no wonder I feel like carving my own tombstone. My persistent interest in stone circulates from fossils to architectural fragments, to river stones. I paint them in watercolor and also carve them. I sat on top of Ankor Wat and later, watched modern carvers shape the trunk of Ganesh and fine marble columns. My current work is the crossroads of more powerful carving technology and time spent with Asian carvers. I play with the illusion of fragments of destroyed temples and buildings and looted or unfinished art of ancient civilizations.
