When: Thu., April 6, 3-9 p.m. and Fri., April 7, 3-7 p.m. 2017
Canadian artist Louise Levergneux presents a series of artist books in her solo exhibition. Levergneux is drawn to the simple, everyday moments that characterize our lives and build history. Biographical scenarios are obsessively collected and meticulously archived in her work, exhibiting an intense investigation into identity and memory. A language of humor, compulsion and displacement emerges when one delves into the library Levergneux has created to catalog human experience.
