Local couple Cheryl and Robert "Rocky" Detwiler—owners of motivational company Samson Life, and Samson Wear and Inspirational Apparel—were looking for a little financial boost when they were invited to appear on an episode of the A&E program Rooster & Butch, a Shark Tank-esque reality show set in Texas.

Rocky, who describes himself as "the foremost expert on the power of words," tells the Texans the story of how he lost everything, something he says has "inspired people around the world the use [their] words to overcome adversity." Rocky said the episode, entitled "Of Cowboys & Poets," is extremely emotional and, he hopes, inspirational.

"[Rooster and Butch] told us, 'You two have all the magic.' They thought we were America's sweetheart couple," Detwiler said. "They said some pretty powerful things. We were in tears. There's a reason we were there."

The Detwilers' episode airs Wednesday, March 14, at 8 p.m. EST on A&E.
