As construction on the Gardner Company's new transportation center continues near the Grove Plaza, a large crane will be installed on Capitol Boulevard on Sunday, Sept. 27. The crane will block the left northbound lane between Grove and Main streets for about a week.

According to a traffic advisory from the Ada County Highway District, the crane will return in mid-October and block traffic in that lane for about two months.

Bike lane and pedestrian restrictions are also in place on Capitol Boulevard between Myrtle and Broad streets until February 2017, while a new 10-story "premier" hotel is built where Dunkley Music used to be.
