  • The Idaho Department of Labor has announced that May was the third straight month in which the unemployment rate of the Gem State was in decline. It currently stands at 3.2 percent. The news isn't all rosy, however: At 63.4 percent, the overall labor participation rate is at its lowest since July 1976.

  • London Muslims attending prayers faced what some are calling a terror attack, when a 48-year-old man plowed a van into a crowd outside a mosque in the north of the city early Monday. The driver was arrested at the scene. ABC News reports at least 11 people were injured. A man receiving first aid measures prior to the van attack has died, and investigators are unsure if his death is a result of the incident.

  • The HBO hit Game of Thrones is notorious for killing off its characters. According to, which has been keeping count, 196 of its characters have met their maker as of season 6, episode 10. In a mashup video by YouTube channel Sung By Movies, major characters have had their lines spliced together into the Gloria Gaynor 1979 disco smash hit "I Will Survive." Spoiler alert: Some of the characters who lend their voices to this anthem for people who just want to liveā€”don't survive. The first episode of the seventh season of Game of Thrones will air Sunday, July 16.
