Day of the Dead is truly a celebration of life, to remind us to live ours to the fullest and also remember our passed loved ones with joy, not sorrow. Join this free community event for all ages to learn more about this vibrant Latin American holiday, enjoy dance performances, traditional Day of the Dead treats and altars, and engage in fun activities like crafts and face painting. With pan de muerto and hot chocolate, traditional Day of the Dead treats, from the The Mexican Consulate; face painting with Foothills School of Arts and Sciences; and student displays from Foothills School of Arts and Sciences, Sage International School, Whittier Elementary, Les Bois Middle School, and the Boise State University Spanish Club.
