Operated by the City of Boise Parks and Recreation Department, the Jim Hall Foothills Learning Center focuses on education and information about the Boise foothills and the surrounding high-desert environment. Science comes alive for visitors through direct experiences with the outdoors. Programs are available for preschool through high school. Two other departments are housed at the Jim Hall Foothills Learning Center: Foothills Open Space Management and the Ridge to Rivers Trails Program. Together, they all working to protect our Foothills and keep them accessible to the community.
