When: Sat., Oct. 31, 10 a.m. 2015
This workshop puts some of the mystery back into photography by analyzing how photographs carry meaning. Elizabeth Jacox discusses the ethics of using photographs and Nicole Tonkovich focuses on how to work with early photographs, although many of the topics apply to digital images, as well. Participants are invited to take a mystery photograph (one that is particularly compelling and/or puzzling in content, time frame or intent). As time allows, they’ll be used to help illustrate the major points.
