Students in grades 9-12 are invited to write a letter to the President with the following topic in mind: "As the new Administration takes office, we recall its promises of hope and for change. Type a 500-750 word letter to the President telling him the most important change you believe he can make during his term, listing some important steps to making that change happen, and explaining how that change will help to ensure a peaceful future for you and for generations to come." Print and sign your first and last name with your mailing address at the end of the letter. Essayists can win cash prizes, and the first place winner can walk away with up to $200.
