Taco Bell officials, from the company's corporate office, responded to the earlier report of a northern Idaho woman complaining that her son and other teens had been asked to leave a Rathdrum location, due a "loitering" policy:
“Our franchisee welcomes this guest in his restaurant. He and his team members invited the customer and his mother back to the location to show how they work to create positive experiences for everyone.”

A northern Idaho woman has taken to social media to rip Taco Bell for making her son and other kids take their meals outside.

Misty Shedenhelm told KREM-TV her 13-year-old son isn't a trouble-maker and gets good grades. However, KREM-TV reports the company, in a prepared statement, wrote that it is "dealing with excessive loitering, aggressive and rude behavior" at the Rathdrum location. Still, the statement added, "no group is banned from the restaurant."

When Shedenhelm learned her son and others had allegedly been turned away from the restaurant once they received their meal, she took to Facebook to complain.

"While I understand [the manager's] frustrations, I don't feel any business should refuse service to ALL kids for a handful that abuse things. I am a little frustrated and incredibly upset about it," she wrote.

Meanwhile, the franchise owners have yet to comment to the media on the incident.
