When: Sat., April 1, 5 p.m. 2017
Idaho Modern's signature event returns for a sixth year with a focus on the Eames Residence and Studio. The landmark of mid-20th century modern architecture is located in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles, and was designed and constructed in 1949 by husband and wife Charles and Ray Eames. Idaho Modern and Herman Miller will be hosting Lucia Dewey Atwood, director of the Eames Foundation and an Eames granddaughter. She'll talk about her work with the Getty Center and the Eames Foundation to conserve and preserve the house and landscape.
