Idaho's mountains are making news all over the country as ski season looms in the heavy clouds hovering just beyond day dreams of snow-packed peaks.
Donnelly's Tamarack Resort is featured in the most recent issue of Ski magazine, which describes the president's recent vacation retreat as an ideal year-round resort, saying: "It's a ski hill. It's a country club. It's a summer retreat. The nation's newest resort wears more than just a ski hat."
And not to be out done by the new kid on the block, Idaho's longtime ski darling, Sun Valley, broke into the top 10 on Ski magazine's readers' list of Top 50 resorts in North America. Last year's list ranked Sun Valley as no. 12.
