Highly Suspect

For years after its formation, Massachusetts-based rock trio Highly Suspect was an unknown quantity, thrashing out covers in local bars. That all changed in 2015, when the band released its debut full-length studio album, Mister Asylum (300 Entertainment), scored Top 10 hits "Bloodfeather" and "Lydia," earned a couple of Grammy nominations, began touring internationally and became a music festival favorite. Following the release of its second album, The Boy Who Died Wolf (300 Entertainment, 2016), a positive core layered in raucous grunge riffs, HS will journey to Boise for a night of pre-Halloween madness.

With a sound described as "yowling somewhere between the metronomic robot metal of Queens of the Stone Age, the bluesy wallop of Jack White and the feedback-shrieking noise-pop of In Utero-era Nirvana," think of HS as a boy band wrapped with barbed-wire.
