Have You Submitted Your Stories to the Boise Weekly Fiction 101 Contest?

by

We don't always publish fiction, but when we do, it's blissfully short. If you haven't already, it's time to enter the 17th-annual Boise Weekly Fiction 101 Contest, where submissions are brief, and the prizes and glory are awesome.

The rules are simple: Submit your 101-word short stories, along with a $10 entry fee for each submission, by noon on Monday, Nov. 19. Entries must be sent using a Microsoft Word attachment to fiction101@boiseweekly.com, along with payment via payment.boiseweekly.com. No hand-written entries will be accepted. Please put the titles of your stories in the "Notes" section, or, if you prefer to pay by check, include story titles on the "For" line. Send checks to:

Boise Weekly/Fiction 101
523 Broad St.
Boise, ID 83702

Once payment has been received, we'll send you a confirmation email.

After the Nov. 19 deadline, our panel of expert judges will select the winning entries, which will be published in the Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019, issue of Boise Weekly. Winning authors will receive cash prizes and will be invited to read at a party hosted by Rediscovered Books following publication.

Good luck!
