Take a giant step toward sustainability and celebrate the harvest season at a family-friendly event loaded with green information including how to make a worm composter. Various hands-on programs include how to turn yard and kitchen waste into next year’s garden soil. Local farmer Mary Rohlfing of Idaho’s Bounty talks about supporting area growers and learn about backyard composting from master composter Mike Jackson. Don't go home empty handed; purchase some fresh vegetables grown by the Junior Garden Club.
