Harry's - Nick-N-Willy's - Spaghetti Feed

Harry's Moves to Southeast

After holding down the corner at 13th and Alturas with a massive crowd at all hours of the day and night, Harry's has spawned another location on Parkcenter Boulevard. Well, sort of. Rumor has it that Harry's at Hyde Park will soon dub itself Hyde Park Pub, losing the Harry's moniker. Simple enough so far, but here's the hairy part: Harry's on Parkcenter has different owners than the Hyde Park hangout but both eateries feature the same menu. Harry's on Parkcenter made its oh-so-silent opening several weeks ago and is open for your pleasure seven days a week in the River Quarry Building (where Moxie Java and Vicious Fish Tacos are located). Pool, TVs and of course, plenty of Harry-related decor.

Pizza Invasion Continues

The Colorado-based franchise Nick-N-Willy's Take-N-Bake Pizza opened its first Boise location on Federal Way last month. Under the purview of partner and former owner and operator of Bittercreek Ale House Julie Krick, Nick-N-Willy's will augment its single Boise store location into a fleet of about a dozen Idaho locations over the next year. The Federal Way location is take-out only, with a menu that is almost strictly pizza. Build your own pizza by choosing from 25 toppings, six cheeses and four sauces and throw it on one of three size pies, or pick up a speciality pizza. Salad, bread and dessert are on the menu for the chef who needs a meal from start to finish.

Noodle Feed for Party Funds

Each year the parents of seniors at Borah High School throw a spaghetti feed and silent auction to raise money for a chemical-free, alcohol-free and debauchery-free soiree to be thrown the night their kiddies finally receive their high school diplomas. Dinner costs those over 12 years old $3, those under 12 years old $2 and the whole family can eat for $10. The silent auction includes dinner and hotel packages, home decor, wine tastings, raft trips and truck loads more.

Friday, April 7, auction begins at 6 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m., Borah High School cafeteria, 6001 Cassia St., 854-4370.
