Bolin Guitars, in cahoots with Meridian's High Desert Harley-Davidson, are going to make rock history this Saturday, June 6, at 1:30 p.m. The event is being called Full Throttle Rock & Roll, but it's more than just a day of music, it's a collaboration of art, music and, of course motorcycles.
Since 1978, John Bolin has been the mastermind behind these guitar creations, satisfying customers such as Jimmy Page, ZZ Top and The Rolling Stones. Now he has teamed up with Mike Flinn and various other artists to create and début his newest piece, the "Twin Cam" guitar. He will also present his customized Harley Davidson, "Street Bob", offered by High Desert. But the noise doesn't end there. Posters for this historic event were designed by local graphic artist Ward Hooper and will be available for display, making this experience the perfect blend of all three components that rock. It's a beer and hotdog sort of occasion, and it's free to the public.
So round up your Harley gang and cruise on down to rev up your afternoon with some art, music and motorcycles. For more details check out this Web site, bolinguitars.com.
