Paul Hosefros was a photographer for The New York Times for 36 years. Early in his career with the Times, he was assistant picture editor, but the bulk of his tenure had an emphasis in black and white photography. In his time in Washington, D.C., Hosefros covered the White House, Congress, the Pentagon and traveled with President Clinton on Air Force One. He also covered the Pentagon and traveled with President Bush after the September 11 attacks. He has received numerous awards and has been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. Hosefros and his family have been living in Boise (where his wife, Gaye, grew up) for four years.
