Motorists trying to maneuver around all the road closures and restrictions in and around Boise this year should probably stop pulling their hair. They may be bald before the summer's out, because the Ada County Highway District has just announced another series of road closures and restrictions to deal with.
- The biggest change will come to Main Street between Capitol Boulevard and Ninth Street, as crews continue to build the city's new multimodal transit center in the downtown core. ACHD warns us that Main, between Capitol and Ninth, will be closed from Monday, June 6 until Saturday, June 18.
- Capitol Boulevard will experience lane restrictions in the overnight hours from Front Street to Main Street, Monday, June 6 through Friday, June 10 to allow construction crews access for utility work.
- The east leg of Capitol Boulevard between Bannock and Jefferson streets will be closed Monday, June 6 through Thursday, June 9 for gutter replacements.
- Five Mile Road, between Franklin and Ustick roads, will be closed through much of this weekend to allow crews to replace an irrigation pipe.
