Fugitive Alert

The Idaho Department of Correction is seeking public assistance in apprehending Daniel Ruiz, a missing felon who is such a fan of his own last name, he has a tattoo of both it and the initials "DR" on his left fingers. (Yes, we realize the inkage totals six letters, but the DOC makes no mention of Ruiz having a sixth, or "evil," finger.) Ruiz is currently on felony probation for possession of a controlled substance. He is 41 years old, five feet, five inches tall, 145 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Besides his finger tats, he also has a cross inked onto his right hand and what a DOC release describes as a "tribal tattoo" on his left arm. Ruiz was last seen on the 600 block of 7th Avenue South in Caldwell. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call CrimeStoppers at 343-2677, but remember, kiddies: Do not to attempt to apprehend Ruiz or any other fugitives. Despite how cool the job seems on A&E's Dog the Bounty Hunter, friends don't let friends become bail enforcers.
